Good Soul Tattoo Studio has operated in Birmingham since 2018. It was built around high-quality tattooing — and has grown into a studio that cares just as much about how people are treated.
We started Good Soul because we believed great tattooing and a great customer experience didn't have to be separate things. Too many studios treat the tattoo as the only thing that matters — and the person sitting in the chair as an afterthought.
We think it should be the other way around. A tattoo is a big moment for most people. The experience around it should feel worthy of that — calm, clear, respectful and human.
So we built a studio where you don’t need to know the terminology, where questions are always welcome, and where being nervous is completely normal. The space has a warm, atmospheric feel, with dark finishes, soft lighting and carefully considered details throughout. It feels calm, comfortable and welcoming — never cold, clinical or intimidating. And above all, we take care of the person, not just the tattoo.
